Gaskiya Alheri Global Concept Ltd (GAGCL) recently completed a critical maintenance project for Lafarge’s facility in Calabar, Nigeria, focusing on the kiln and Vertical Roller Mill (VRM). These systems are vital to Lafarge’s cement production, and the project aimed to enhance performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.

Following a thorough inspection, GAGCL identified worn components in the kiln’s refractory linings and seals, as well as the VRM’s rollers and grinding table. During scheduled downtime, skilled technicians replaced these components with precision-engineered parts, optimizing systems to improve thermal efficiency, particle size uniformity, and energy use, while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
